8th Annual ACE Fall Fundraiser
The 8th Annual (GPSGA)/The First Tee of Philadelphia Golf Tournament, was held on August 17, 2010 and hosted at the beautiful ACE club. The full field of 26 teams enjoyed beautiful weather as well as excellent course conditions. Area Youth Set Golf-A-Thon Record at Walnut L On Saturday, April 10, 2010, Walnut Lane G.C. was the host of a Golf-A-Thon to raise money for The First Tee Philadelphia Learning Center. This 9 hour and 10 minute event raised $7450 and counting in pledges and donations for the new First Tee facility, which is to be built this summer.

TFT Phila Goes to Overbrook School for Blind TFT representatives, John MacDonald, Jack Hubbert, Greg Gaul, Jeff Middleton and Brian Clobes served as coaches (one on one) for kids playing the OSB golf course. The clinic lasted about 3 hours. Jeff Middleton gave a talk to the kids and parents at lunch regarding the availability of the TFT program to visually impaired kids.
