USGA Foundation Conference The USGA Foundation hosted the second annual national meeting for grantees in Colorado Springs, Colorado, January 8 thru 10. John MacDonald attended the event and participated in the LPGA - USGA girls golf program, and numerous other educational sessions.

RBS Achiever's Award TFT Philadelphia's Marc Thompson wins RBS Achiever's Award presented by Jack Nicklaus.

Achievers of the Year Award Matthew Bellah, a Birdie certified member of The First Tee of Philadelphia was selected as one of 12 semi-finalists for the 2005 RBS Achievers of the Year Award. He received a $1,000 scholarship. He attended the President’s Cup, met Jack Nicklaus and just started his freshman year at Duke University.

TFT Phila Goes to Overbrook School for Blind TFT representatives, John MacDonald, Jack Hubbert, Greg Gaul, Jeff Middleton and Brian Clobes served as coaches (one on one) for kids playing the OSB golf course. The clinic lasted about 3 hours. Jeff Middleton gave a talk to the kids and parents at lunch regarding the availability of the TFT program to visually impaired kids.
